I must admit that I have a thing for antique doors for a long time. Be it of any kind- large, small, cozy, dramatic or dark; old and rustic doors from ancient towns never failed to fascinate me.
I believe, they are not just mere photographic subjects or pretty frames rather they are the stories.
I often get intrigued of what secrets these doors posses. After all, they are not just standing there as veils to homes but must have witnessed an array of emotions of people living behind them.
While roaming around the streets, such doors always grabs my attention. Most of these doors were locked. It’s fun to guess who owned these homes, what could possibly be behind a door — any secrets, emotions or mysteries. No matter how hard I try, I am left with many unanswered questions. And may be that’s the beauty of such doors as sometimes the photographs themselves tell a story. ❤
